This course focuses on California real estate laws. Topics include: principal legal aspects of ownership, acquisition and transfer of real property, legal descriptions, contracts, escrow procedures, forms for trusts and foreclosures, liens, legal instruments, property ownership and management, real estate security devices, property rights, landlord-tenant law, land-use controls, and title insurance. This course satisfies the education requirements for the California Real Estate Salesperson and Broker exam and license. Field trips may be required.
