Registered Nursing 01 is a series of lectures and discussions that provides the concepts and principles necessary to facilitate the transition of the Licensed Vocational Nurse to the changing role of the Registered Nurse. Incorporates best practices, professional standards, and legal and ethical responsibilities of the professional nurse as applied in various health care settings. Emphasis will be placed upon the registered nurse as a decision-making member of the health care team and the responsibilities to be assumed by such a practitioner.
